![]() So it may be hard to set it up so that GOG users can play with Steam users using this method. ![]() It may take sometime though since one of the features of Galaxy's multiplayer API is the ability to play with those who use Steam and how the Steamworks multiplayer in 1.3 currently works is you or someone else sets up their world and handles hosting duties and the persons joining click "join" on the hosts profile. sadly the devs weren't able to add Galaxy.api multiplayer features like they did with the Steam version for 1.3 for a few reasons but the big one was probley they probley didn't have access to the API till late in the updates development, now that doesn't mean they won't once they get the bugs in 1.3 straightened out and the Mac and Linux ports squared away. Yet, the GOG version requires Port forwarding and/or a separate application to do basically the same thing. ![]() ![]() Why do we have to do a complicated process to play the game multiplayer? I know this has been brought up a ton in the past, but now this is more of a sticking point with me, as Steam has an easy way to play with your people on your friends list.
